Well, Lest you think that I am perfect; today I will dispel that notion. I would like to talk about the Good, The Bad and the Ugly. No I am not talking about the Clint Eastwood movie or about my family for that matter. I am talking about attempts and results. It would be easy to tell you only of my successes. Sure you could go on thinking everything I do is easy. Not so! Here are three examples of what I mean.
THE GOOD |
O.K. these little Mary Jane style booties are good. I started them when my daughter told me she was pregnant. Again, I was sure it would be a girl.....fast forward. It was not a girl so this week I finished sewing them up and added the tiny pearl buttons. They will go to the next baby girl I hear about.

THE (MY) BAD |
The Bad, no these darling booties are not bad but I am. You see my mother made these for my daughter 32 years ago. When I saw them they were exactly the way they are now. I offered to sew the buttons on for her because I had some and she didn't.......well you guessed it. I never got around to it and they stayed in my top dresser drawer all there years. Oops. Oh well I will put the buttons on today.Hey, I'm sorry, I got busy. If you see Lucille, please don't let on.

YOU GUESSED IT! THE UGLY |

Jackie, I can not comment on your footwear foulups because I myself was known as the bootie bungler. However, it still counts as another step forward. I appreciate your straightforwardness and vulnerability. Keep at it. Love you, Rose
Well - I guess I should Express my gratitude that you didn't feel that because they were green that my boy child aka - your Grandson could pull off the Mary Janes - second - I don't appreciate that you withheld booties from me for all those years - maybe thats why I almost didn't marry Nick - and finally the Ugly aren't so ugly - they are just different - and you must have made those as practice because the BROWN ones you made said grandson came out wonderfully - I am tempted to request a size 8 - but I'm afraid to as I see you are currently finishing only per 1981 projects - so instead I'll request man size 13 and he can take them to college :) keep on not finishing things so we have the pleasure of reading your fantastic mind at its best :)
Those booties are cute!! Although I do have a penchant for rooting for the underdog.
Thanks everyone. Rose if only we had those booties you made years ago, remember the ones that would have fit bigfoot? i love you always...xoxo
Hey Meg, thanks for editing Believe me there are many more "old" projects coming. Should I finish the leisure suit I started for Dad in the 70's? Love to my "much wanted and loved" Grant!
Marissa, I miss you! Thanks for following me. Of course you love the underdog. That is why you are a fantastic Spec. Ed. Teacher. I will miss you TERRIBLY! xoxox
Yo, nice job. At least your can knit...my sainted grandmother taught me to knit approx. 10 times and sadly it never took (though I could knit and purl like a demon under her direct supervision). I went to North Shore cc today to look for that course, it is at www.northshore.edu, go to top of page, "look for courses", select non-credit, and you're looking for social media courses. Of course I now forget the name of the one I meant, I will have to leave another comment. Sigh. But it was something like "killer content" and it costs $49....
Keep at it! Sue
Thanks Sue. I had a ball yesterday! Lets do it again.
I think I signed in correctly. God knows. I'm on my phone. Love the most recent chair post. Keep up the good work and entertaining dialogue between you and siblings! Lol!
Hey deb....good to see you! I have enough half done stuff to get me though my 50s, 60 and probably into my 70s. Follow me if you want. Thanks for leaving a comment. See you toooooo soon!
