I've spent my whole life on the beautiful East Coast of Massachusetts. I breathe the ocean air, swim in the cold Atlantic Ocean and relish the sound of the pounding surf.
I can't imagine being anywhere else.
So maybe that's why, when the occasion arises, my “go to” new baby blanket pattern is

It captures the essence of the place that I love.
So, now meet Maverick, the cute little recipient of my latest project. It’s his first car ride home from the hospital where extended family wait to greet him.
My guess is he will grow up near the ocean too.
