You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'

You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

Tah Dah!!!

Here it is and with it the proof that for me accountabily is the key to "getting it done". After finishing the knitting part (easy part) putting it together was a "royal pain". I blocked it first and then had dinner. After dinner I busied myself with other tasks......the sweater pieces kept surfacing  in my mind. "Get it done, get it done, get it done". So reluctantly I settled down in front of the TV watching America's Got Talent and sewed the darn pieces together. While I hated doing it the end result was worth it.The sweater came out great. I need a 10" zipper now. (Couldn't find one at A.C. more or Joann's) I'll get one today at the yarn store or buy it online. But for today I couldn't be happier.  This sweater has a particular interest for me. My grandmother knitted them for her grandchildren, my mom knitted them for her grandchildren and Now I am knitting it for my grandchild. The pattern is old, handwritten and tattered. I love the continum . I really hope it fits my grandson! I'll let you know! Now for the next unfinished project...... Stay Tuned!

Jackie, I think I wrote a comment on this one before but I can not find it. I remember these sweaters on Kenny and Jeff. I love them. This is a beautiful color and will look great on Grant. Yay Jackie...I am proud of you.
