You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'

You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

Following Through

My Beautiful Town!

Well, In keeping with my promise to follow through, I have good news to report. My little rosebud creation was sent to Maryland today to the "expectant parents". I will not miss that little hat calling to me whenever I opened the closet door. "finish me first" I think I heard it say. On another note,  the zipper arrived in the mail yesterday. Tonight I will sew it into the sweater. I went on
http://www.youtube.com/  to see the best and neatest way to do it. That was very helpful. In a day or two I will begin my next project.....stayed tuned.

Jackie,
Did Bob really say that. I am so impressed by his support and encouragement. I hope the people who received this send a photo.

Jackie I love that you still had the booties that mom made even though you didn't sew on the buttons for thirty two years. those must be some rare buttons. as always an awesome blog.
