You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'

You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

Dear, Dear Lucy

Hello again faithful followers. I’m still here and more “behind” than ever. Thank you for checking in. My beloved mom passed away last year; she was nearly 96 years old. She was always my biggest cheerleader and she was loved so much by so many.  That said, meet Lucy (named for my mom whose name was Lucille). She is my emotional support chicken, something I didn’t realize I needed until my mom passed. She sits on the back of my couch and keeps an eye on things. She also encourages me and scolds me when I need it. Mostly she listens and is a wonderful presence in my house. (Not sure how she feels about being a chicken though.) Ha Ha

If  you think you want or need an Emotional Chicken you can find information and pattern available on Ravelry

Peace Out
